Subdivision Modeling a Head in LW

You can now try to imagine how such a head will look like if you have used another 1400 polys for just the detail. But before that I will build an ear. I must point out that I cannot do it 100% anatomically correctm but will show you how to model one that will suit just fine.

Select those polys and smooth-shift once and once again:

  

Now select the back two as shown and again smooth-shift

Next select those 4 polys and smoosh-shift again and scale them a little bit:
