Next, we want to see all of the particles rather than just 10% of them, so under 'Basic Parameters' go down to viewport display and change the value from 10.0(%) to 100.0(%), and then click on the 'Pick Object' and select the sphere so it's the particle emitter.

Once you've done that, scroll down a bit more under 'Particle Generation' and click on the 'Use Total' tick box and change the value to 75. What this does is emit a total of 75 partices over the emitting time period.

We want to change the speed of how quickly the particles emit as well as the direction ect. We want it to be quite fast and eratic so change the speed first of all to 2.31 and give it a bit of variation so they don't all emit at the same speed, so change the variation value to 25.0 (%), and leave diverence at 15 degrees (this basically just adjusts the offset direction slightly).

Now just below that is the emittence times, we want to change these values so the particles emit only over 2 frames, from frame 10 to frame 12 and we want them to then die after 50 frames. So change the 'Emit Start' value to 10 and the 'Emit Stop' value to 12. And just below 'Display Until' is 'Life', change the 'Life' value to 50.
