Barrels (1), trunks(2) and rushes(3) are cylinders. Texture for barrels is a modified picture painting rust and dirty. Textures for trunks are different pictures of wood.

Ropes are splines, first I made a bezier spline with a few points, then I moved points over the folds in the coat, the other lines were copied from the first and fit. When finished all splines were connected and the ropes were created by a sweep nurbs object (2).
Many people don't see them but they are, yes there is a flock of birds. Once again this object came from a cube with some extrusions (5).

OTHER TEXTURES

Most complicated texture was the ground, to make it I needed several layers filled with differents kinds of grass, straw and sand with differents opacity levels. To blend these layers I used an eraser starting from top layer. A new layer was added to paint furrows produced by the wheel carts.

Trees were the only objtects in the scene that I didn't modeled, but only used a texture over a plane with an alpha channel.

LIGHTS

Lighting up this scene was very simple. Main light is an omni light at the top with area shadows activated to simulate the Sun. One array of omni lights was uses to iluminate all areas with a slight soft shadow. Only the area around the tree at the left wasn't iluminated enough so other omni light was added ingluding only objects in this area.

That's all i hope this article help somebody and enjoy others. Thanks
