Techbits

Greg
Techbits are a brain child of Greg Hess, who initially started them on the Discreet Forum, then moved them here to a permanent home; they are gathered, (chewed up) and processed by Greg Hess and Thomas Bruno, an all around good guys, hardware experts and 3DLuVr staff/contributing authors.

Can't give up your PS/2 ports but still an Abit lover? Check out the AX7, brother to the AT7. We all remember the BX7 right? Oh wait that was BX6.

Kyle and the gang stand aside as Intel fires out some new processors...running at 533 FSB.

The new 2.53 Gigahertz processor actually competes with AMD's 1.73 Gigahertz offering. Go Intel.

In response to so many requests, Ace starts adding more results to the Dual Xeon vs Dual Athlon debate. Today's test is a engineering program designed to tell you how safe, or unsafe, your SUV is.

Intel flaunts their megahertz speed, while AMD flaunts their ability to execute more instructions per clock...But could this all change?

With Intel's Itanium running at 800 megahertz, and Hammer coming out at a whopping 2.0 Gigahertz, looks like the two companies could just swap marketing departments =).

Apple releases the new eMac. Costing more then all its competitor's products, this new mac promises to deliver performance and power...And if you believe that, by all means buy one =).

Fujitsu makes a life long commitment...to AMD. Their laptops will be featuring 1.2 to 1.4 Ghz AMD chips, most likely outperforming the Intel mobile chipset by a long shot.
