April 21, 2005 - BOXX Technologies, the leading workstation company offering systems that are as powerful as they are easy to integrate, announces its plans to support dual-core AMD64 technology in its 7000 Series of high-performance workstations and render nodes. Featuring Dual-Core AMD Opteron� processors, dual-core AMD64 technology is a natural extension of AMD�s Direct Connect Architecture, directly connecting CPU, memory and I/O resources as opposed to having these resources accessed via a front-side bus.
