 Date: Wed Apr 06 2005
April 6, 2005 - NaturalMotion Ltd., the innovative British developer of Dynamic Motion Synthesis technology, today announced endorphin Rush, a new monthly licensing programme for its popular endorphin software. Designed specifically for smaller facilities, freelancers or specific projects, the Rush programme lets users rent endorphin 2.0 for only $1,595 per month, including full support.

Torsten Reil, CEO, NaturalMotion, said: Over the past few months, we have received a growing number of requests from individuals and small studios to introduce an official rental scheme for endorphin. The Rush programme now answers these requests and gives users the chance to use the unique power of endorphin on a flexible basis.

endorphin uses NaturalMotions Dynamic Motion Synthesis technology to create 3D character animation in real-time. Announced customers include The Mill (for a Europe-wide Pepsi ad campaign), Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (The Getaway: Black Monday), Namco (Tekken 5), Moving Picture Company (Troy) and many others.

Boyd Shermis, Visual Effects Supervisor (Batman Forever, Speed, Face/Off) said: endorphin is the most exciting and important innovation to hit the 3D animation market in the last ten years. I continue to be amazed by the speed, interactivity and quality of the animation that we are able to generate.

Costs and Availability

endorphin 2.0 Rush is available with immediate effect from NaturalMotion and its appointed resellers at $1,595 USMSRP. A full commercial license of endorphin 2.0 retails at $12,795 USMSRP.

About endorphin

endorphin is the industrys first Dynamic Motion Synthesis software. Based on AI and dynamics research, endorphin synthesises 3D character animation in real-time, thus dramatically cutting asset production time and costs. Used in projects such as Troy (Warner Bros.) and with announced customers including Sony Europe, Sony America, Moving Picture Company, The Mill, Namco, Konami, Rainbow Studios and others, endorphin is rapidly becoming the tool of choice for high-end animation in visual effects, games and animation studios.
