 Alias Launches Maya Membership Programs Posted by: amigo Source: Press Release Date: Mon Aug 09 2004 Los Angeles, CA - SIGGRAPH (Booth #1312) - August 9, 2004 - Alias announced that effective this week it will launch a new series of programs for Maya� and Maya Personal Learning Edition software customers, which deliver valuable support, maintenance and learning opportunities. The Maya Membership family � including Maya Platinum Membership, Maya Silver Membership and Maya Bronze Membership � has been developed to meet the diverse business, learning and support requirements represented in the Maya user community.
Full Annual Maintenance customers will be automatically switched over to the Maya Platinum Membership � an enhanced program that offers these customers more features and services than the former Full Annual Maintenance program, for the same annual fee.

Maya Platinum Membership
The Maya Platinum membership program is designed to give its members a full array of support services in order to allow them to maximize their investment in the software. Maya Platinum Membership delivers features designed to minimize customer �down-time� such as extended weekday and weekend hotline support*; interactive, online case-management tools; and no-charge, priority license transfers (same or different operating system). Additionally, access to new online resources -- from a wide range of tutorials to information on critical technical issues, bug report status and workarounds � means members have up-to-date information on the software, fast answers to common Maya questions and self-directed learning opportunities 24 hours, 7 days a week.
In addition to these and other new features, Maya Platinum members also receive complimentary Maya Silver membership.

Members receive 24 hours, 7 days a week online access to a wide range of Maya learning resources. These educational tools - in-depth tutorials.; real-project-based learning materials, the Maya Mentor interactive, learning plug-in and Weblogs from experienced Maya users � are available on a monthly or annual basis.
