Glu3D is a CFD Fluid Simulator fully integrated inside 3dsmax ( it is available for Maya too (Windows and Linux) and available for support requests and testing too ) and it's waiting for professional advices, comments and suggestions to improve its functionality. It costs just $295, and a fully functional demo version is available from http://www.3daliens.com

Changes in v1.1.60:

-version v1.1.60 05/21/2004
 bug fixed-> after filling a small container, glu3D particles exploded when solver started.
 bug fixed-> fill & settle function was not working after loading an scene.
 bug fixed-> after restarting glu3D scene, % filled was decreased in one unit.
 bug fixed-> it was impossible to change Coanda effect value in glu3D Object Manager.
 Object Manager improved: sliders added to make easy changing parameter values; now it is possible to change parameters for a group of selected objects; object selection is preserved;

-version v1.1.59f 05/15/2004

This is the same as .59 whith one bug fixed:
 gluPathfollow fixed. It was crashing with line spline type.

-version v1.1.59 05/13/2004
 Cache workflow improved and fixed: Now it is possible to retrieve a stored cache (.glu file) and continue calculating from the last frame calculated.
 Plain shape sources improved: when a plain shape is selected to emit particles from, it isn't moved to the centre of world. Collide attribute is disabled instead.
 glu3D path follow improved: now it is possible to select any spline path including text( first letter), stars, n-gons, ellipse, etc. Helix primitive doesn't work as path.
 bug fixed-> When settle down button is pressed twice, solver floating window appeared also twice. Then if solver was cancelled, only one of them was killed. The other was visible.
 bug fixed-> when using destruction box, render times became huge and memory raised without limit.
 bug fixed-> Particle Display reduction control: with only one particle in the system, none particle was shown with a 100% display percentage in viewport.
 Drop size, melting threshold and surface LOD maximum values has been increased.
