3DLuVr Now Running New Hardware Setup

I am finally done migrating the site to the new server, which I've ended up building because the old one simply kept me awake at nights worrying (4+ years old scsi drives, no backup or redundancy of any kind, a nightmare).

New server is an AMD XP3200 with 1.5GB RAM and four Seagate Cheetah U320 SCSI drives, running a Raid-1 for the OS and Raid-5 for the data. Suffice to say I had to pay it out of my (empty) pocket, once again, so now my debt is even bigger. Joy! I must be out of my mind...beside being out of work and out of money.

Oh, and not to forget the support (or LACK of any kind) from a few hardware vendors who did not care to sponsor 3DLuVr with a new server. I guess they didn't see a benefit from having a permanent banner on the 3DLuVr on every page of every site, which I was offering (worth far more than their measly server).
What is even worse is that ultimatelly they didn't want to help YOU - the community at large who visits this site, because I'm not a part of the equation here, I'm just a public servant who runs this site, but you are the ones who are the consumers of information and their potential customers.

So kids, remember next time when you go buying a new graphics system, who really cares (or actually doesn't care) about your needs...
