Source: Press Release
 Date: Fri Feb 20 2004
Burbank, CA February 20, 2004 Desktop Images, a leading provider of visual training solutions for the creative community worldwide, is pleased to announce that they are Turning 100. 100 training titles, that is. DI2100 Motion Graphics with LightWave: Distinguished Backgrounds is the 100th training title that the company has shipped in their eleven plus years in the education and training business.

To celebrate the release of their 100th title, Desktop Images will be placing one hundred special $100 Lucky Buck coupons at random in Distinguished Backgrounds DVD boxes, a total of ten thousand dollars in value. From their first video release more than eleven years ago, Video Toaster 2.0 Essentials, to the release next week of the specialized motion graphics titles, Desktop Images has provided the digital arts community with a wide range of training videos and DVDs presented by industry-recognized experts. The range of products for which Desktop Images provides quality training titles is growing ever wider, and the company has also produced many intensive training seminars nationwide.

"It's really exciting to be a part of Desktop Images 'turning 100' with this title," said Rich Helvey, the trainer for the Motion Graphics series and lead animator for NBC's Access Hollywood. "They're committed to putting out the best quality training products for computer graphics, and the fact that Motion Graphics with LightWave: Distinguished Backgrounds is the 100th title says a lot about their viability and dedication to the market."

In this day and age, when some companies tend to come and go in the blink of an eye, Im pleased that weve been able to succeed over the long haul and see the release of our 100th title, said Rex Olson, president and co-founder of Desktop Images. Ive had the opportunity, with these training videos and DVDs, to work with some of the most talented artists and trainers in their fields, and to help the many customers that want a better way to learn the software.
