Photron has announced availability of their Primatte keyer as a plugin for eyeon's Digital Fusion compositing package.

Photron USA recently announced PRIMATTE for Digital Fusion, a powerful plug-in option that adds the highest quality chromakey and image compositing capabilities to the eyeon's Digital Fusion compositing software package. Primatte offers a revolutionary solution for ultra-precision matte control blue or greenscreen compositing.
"Our goal was to work together with eyeon to give Digital Fusion the highest quality chromakey capability with the easiest to use interface. Primatte offers all that and more. Now Digital Fusion users can take advantage of Primatte functionality from within Digital Fusion GUI," said Photron's Primatte Product Manager, Scott Gross.
While Digital Fusion has its own keyer, the Primatte plug-in extends the functionality with an easy to use toolset for more difficult chromakeying. Primatte has made a major impact on the industry and has been used on such major motion pictures and television shows as Cast Away, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, 102 Dalmatians and the upcoming Spider-Man. Known for the ease and speed at which compositing artists can pull mattes on such difficult foreground objects as 'fly away' blonde hair, reflections, motion blur, smoke and water, Primatte has been making artist's lives easier for several years now.
