Act-3D released Quest3D version 2.1

Leiden, The Netherlands � November 4, 2003 � Act-3D B.V. has released a new version of Quest3D� that makes the creation of interactive virtual-reality applications even easier than previous versions. New functions have been added making larger project easier to manage. The large set of features allows users to create a virtual-reality application that run faster and look better.

Act-3D� has been working closely with customers to meet their demands on increasing productivity. A new tool was added that allows users to paint trees and scenery using the mouse. Shadows and artificial intelligence functionality makes productions come to life and the new interface of Quest3D� allows users to work faster when updating meshes, finding logic and managing big projects.

A number of easy accessible tools allow quick changes that would normally require re-importing a 3d model. These new features, together with the already powerful functionality, make Quest3D� a winning product for creating fast and visually appealing virtual-reality applications.

A demo version is available for download on the website. Quest3D� feature highlights include physics simulation, database connectivity, multi-user networking, artificial intelligence, optimized scenery and crowd rendering and powerful graphic capabilities.
