NXN Software joins Intel Developer Dispatch Program
Posted by: amigo
Source: Press Release
 Date: Tue Aug 26 2003
London, UK - 26 August 2003 - NXN Software, the leading supplier of asset management solutions for the digital entertainment and computer graphics industries, today announced its support for Intel's Developer Dispatch Program. Under the terms of the agreement with Intel (NASDAQ: INTC), NXN will provide a special trial version of its NXN alienbrain Engineer configuration management system to all participating developers. As part of the programme, NXN will also present its offering for software developers at Intel's ECTS booth 1240.

"Intel works closely with software developers like NXN to provide our early access customer base with the most powerful software and tools available. By adding NXN alienbrain to our Developer Dispatch Program we can offer a more complete development environment," said Coral Pruitt, Product Marketing Project Manager at Intel Software Enabling Group.

The NXN alienbrain product family combines award-winning asset and software configuration management functionality, enabling software developers and designers to manage their entire project data from start to finish within one system.

Hyper-threading support

With NXN's latest service release, NXN alienbrain products now offer enhanced support for large-scale projects. The upgraded server is optimised to leverage multiple-processor machines as well as server hardware featuring Intel(r) Hyper-Threading technology. Hyper-threading technology enables single processors to present themselves to modern operating systems and applications as two virtual processors. The processor can work on two sets of tasks simultaneously, use resources that otherwise would sit idle, and get more work done in the same amount of time.

Availability

To benefit from Intel's Developer Dispatch Program, software developers need to join Intel Developer Services' Early Access Program. For more information on the programs visit www.intel.com/ids/eap/ or come and see NXN in the Intel Developer Area, booth #1240, at ECTS 2003 in London, August 27 - 29, Earls Court Conference Centre.
