CineSpace Support for IRIDAS FrameCycler
Posted by: amigo
Source: Press Release
 Date: Tue Aug 05 2003
Adelaide, Australia - 29 July 2003 - rising sun research pty ltd, developers of colour management solutions for digital film, today announced that support for cineSpace will be available in all IRIDAS product releases.

CineSpace gives users the confidence that the colours they see on their
monitors accurately match those which will go to film. The combination of
cineSpace calibration tools and the IRIDAS line of uncompressed digital
playback systems gives facilities a powerful solution for their
visualisation and review needs.

All new IRIDAS products will provide full support for rising sun research's
upcoming cineSpace 2.0 release which incorporates new profiling technology
and a full 3d colour cube.

"We are delighted to be able to offer our film calibration system to
FrameCycler users" said Didier Elzinga, MD, rising sun research. "As our
customers always tell us, our calibration system really gives 'what you see
is what you get' results - leading to less wasted work, fewer film run outs
and, just as importantly, more creative control. Add this to the IRIDAS
playback systems and you have a very compelling solution to your colour
needs."

"Our goal is to deliver solutions that maximize the quality and efficiency
of our customers work, said IRIDAS CEO Lin Sebastian Kayser. CineSpace
clearly supports this objective by eliminating costly steps traditionally
associated with colour quality control. By extending colour calibration
support to every desktop in a facility, artists can now be sure that colours
will accurately be reproduced throughout the pipeline.

CineSpace is available online from http://research.rsp.com.au. For more
