Yow, a first batch of video tutorials has been posted as a prelude to a Holiday extravaganza on the 3DLuVr. Your favourite F/X guy, Allan Mckay brings you a full audio/video experience with hands-on, no BS, down to the point, step-by-step guide on creating various effects with 3ds max. The first batch of videos covers:
- Procedural Displacement (pt.1)
- Clouds with Afterburn
- Procedural Modeling (pt.1)
- Procedural Shaders (pt.1)
Videos are streamed windows media, available both to broadband and dialup users via an easy selection menu.
Expect batches to be posted a few weeks apart, totaling a set of 10 video tutorials (or more, depending if Allan is in the mood to make more)
