For those interested to learn facial expressions and body language, people at Lost Pencil Studios have put together a series of training CDs with tutorials, titled "Just Animate". Details are below, or just visit their website for samples..
Alberta, Canada - Oct 9, 2002 - Lost Pencil Animation Studios Inc. is pleased to present another training CD in the "Just Animate" series which focuses on Character Animation.
Using Lightwave 7.5, the animator shows how to create multiple facial morph targets, and an animation of a character getting surprised, angry and then sad in order to show how facial expressions and body language work together to create effective character animation.
The 2 CD set contains all the source files for the final animations and a fully rigged and textured character model named Mia (the model includes 27 facial morph targets and additional phoneme targets). The CD is available for PC and
Macintosh based computers for a 10 day introductory price of $19.99USD.
