Toontrack is an Online animation project tracking and asset management software, that lets you manage your production and team members; assign tasks, notes and status for layout, animation, lighting, and more.
It is currently geared towards A|W Maya and supports load, import and reference files into Maya from Toontrack, check in and check out of files into Maya, version history and control for Maya files (incremental save etc.)
According to Toonstruck page, Toontrack source code will be made available in the future, and will allow for customizing and modification to the specific needs of production facilities.
