Lesson 2 - Sketching Session
Added on: Fri Sep 01 2000
Page: 1 2 3 5 6 7

Sketching (cont.)

Start drawing the outline of the apple visible between the top and the left 'extreme' point.
Try to use as few strokes as possible.

[Tip] Try to lay a piece of paper (normal paper, writing/drawing paper) on top of your Tablet and draw through it. The paper surface is rougher (slows down your strokes) than the tablet surface, and when drawing details/sketches this may help you to be more precise.

[Tip] If you make an error try to draw the correct line before you erase the error. That way you wont repeat the same error several times.

Continue with the outline between the other points. Remember to look at the apple photo!

The rough outline

When you get a nice outline move on by drawing the branch next.
