IK Leg Tutorial

Select L_FootB. Do not edit anything on the controller tab.


Switch to the IK tab. Set the goal object to L_AnkleBuffer. Check the full time IK box. Check the Match Goal Orientation box. And make sure the Goal Strength is set to 100.0.


Select L_ToeB. Do not edit anything on the controller tab.


Switch to the IK tab. Set the goal object to L_ToeBuffer. Do not check the Full time IK box. Check the Match Goal Orientation box. Make sure the Goal Strength is set to 1.0.


Close the Motion Options panel. Check to make sure the bones are seeking the correct goals by looking at the dashed lines in the schematic view.
