The color for this falloff map will be next, A) R:180 G:189 B:192 ; B) R:255 G:255 B:255


Now click the "go to parent" button on the material editor. We are going to change the bump map value to 75. Click the map button and select for it button "smoke" map.


Change the smoke size value to 20.0. For the "phase" of our smoke material we are going to animate the values so go to the first frame of your animation and turn on the "animate" button, then change the value for the phase to 0.1 that will create an animation key for our material at this frame. Then go to the final frame of your animation and change the value to 5.0 and turn off the animation button.

Click the "go to parent" button twice to return to see the 2 materials and the mask; the mask for this material will be a smoke one:


Change the values to this, size 20 and the phase value 1 . It will not be animated so that�s really it! You can apply the material now to compare the results from our first material. The preview for this blend will look like this: material_b.avi
