In this short tutorial, I would like to show a simple way of rigging a lower part of the face
and adding reusable weights to control and separate lips bones.

1.Bring your model to Messiah.
2.Go to setup mode and add bone deform effect


3. add bones

I have positioned some bones to roughly mimic skull structure

4.create-muscle bones for lips


Upper lips bones are parented to the head upper bone, and lower lips bones - to "head lower" bone.
I used "head lower" bone to move the whole jaw of the character.
Corner lips bones are parented to upper structure too, so they dont follow the jaw when its opening.
I animate them separately to compensate deformation or add smile and sadness emotions.

5. thats how it looks like without any weights assigned to the lips bones. Obviously the deformation doesnt work very well.
