ATI Technologies' latest Mobility Fire GL 9000 graphics processor includes full support for workstation features such as: premiere performance in the highest 3D resolutions - up to 2048 X 1536 pixels in rich, 32-bit color;

MARKHAM, Ontario - ATI Technologies Inc. the number one supplier of mobile visual processors worldwide, announced today that ATI's MOBILITY� FIRE GL� 9000 graphics processor will be used in the new Compaq Evo mobile workstation N800w from HP.

Certified by the industry's key CAD/CAM and DCC applications providers, the MOBILITY FIRE GL 9000 offers users the highest level of product reliability and stability. Capable of processing up to six textures per single rendering pass and eight samples per pixel and operating efficiently in both wire-frame and shaded modes, the MOBILITY FIRE GL 9000 is ideally suited for professional content creation and playback, as well as high-end workstation applications.
