Di-O-Matic, a leading developer of character animation software, announced today the upcoming release of Facial Studio for Windows, this ultimate new software gives you more than 500 controls over the 3d head creation process and much more.
Finally, this award winning suite of plug-ins for 3ds max will be available in a complete stand alone Windows version. Offering new features like the powerful and easy to use PhotoMatching that allows you to create heads based on photos or drawings in less than 10 minutes !
With its simple but very effective non linear approach Facial Studio gives the most effective control for the head creation and deformation creation. You can easily deform everything from the eyes, the nose, the mouth, the jaw, the chin, the ears, the cheeks, the forehead, the eyebrows to the overall head shape including the teeth and the tongue. Facial Studio also give you power over the skin textures, shading, and the facial muscles deformation.
Facial Studio takes advantage of the powerful FBX interchange file format developed by Kaydara, allowing export of 3d heads along with their deformations setup to every major 3D applications.
Pricing and Availability
Facial Studio for Windows is currently in final development stage and a release date has yet to be set. It will be offered through Di-O-Matic distributors and resellers network as well as directly from the Di-O-Matic corporate web site at www.diomatic.com before the end of the year.
