Sophia Antipolis, France - September 6, 2004 - REALVIZ, a leader in image
processing software development, has confirmed the details of their release
schedule for autumn 2004 at IBC in Amsterdam. The Company, which recently
announced two brand new products at Siggraph in Los Angeles, namely REALVIZ
StoryViz and a new MoCap module MatchMover Pro 3, will be demonstrating
these along with their other flagship products, including; MatchMover Pro,
ReTimer Pro & ImageModeler 4.0 at stand #7.143 throughout IBC at the RAI
Exhibition & Conference Center, Amsterdam, Holland, 10.-14. September 2004.
REALVIZ StoryViz 1.0 Available From Mid-September 2004
REALVIZ StoryViz 1.0, which debuted at this year's Siggraph show, is the
latest addition to the REALVIZ software portfolio. StoryViz is an all-new
application making the link between storyboards and actual film production,
by simulating the shooting phase and by pre-editing the final shots, all in
real time 3D with an image quality previously unobtainable. The software is
the result of years of development efforts at the famous Duran Duboi Studios
in Paris, and has already been extensively used on a number of major films.
The application is now to be industrialized and published by REALVIZ for the
film industry.
Pricing & Availability:
REALVIZ StoryViz 1.0 is available for Microsoft Windows 2000/XP through
REALVIZ resellers worldwide and from REALVIZ direct at a price point of
3,000 Euros/3,600$ US. StoryViz will also be available for purchase through
the 'Absolu' pricing model: REALVIZ 'Absolu' is a monthly subscription
scheme already available for MatchMover Pro 3.0, which enables single
desktop users, post-production houses, and other users who require
occasional previz facilities, to access this new application - irrespective
of size or budget. Under the 'Absolu' scheme, monthly payments start from
only a few hundreds Euros per month for companies, schools, universities or
freelance artists, based on commitments of 6 or 12 months.
MoCap Module For REALVIZ MatchMover Pro To Ship Mid-September 2004
REALVIZ will shortly also begin shipping the first of a new range of
modules, designed to complement their internationally renowned tracking
software, MatchMover Pro 3.0. The Motion Capture (MoCap) module, which is
the first of these, will be available from mid-September 2004, with further
modules slated for release in Q4 2004/Q1 2005. The MoCap module offers users
the unique capability to perform motion capture from synchronized image
sequences with total flexibility. It can deal with any number of image
sequences, from any number of cameras, fixed or mobile, to capture any
combination of mobile objects, rigid or non-rigid. REALVIZ MatchMover Pro 3
and the MoCap module constitute a unique solution to accurately capture any
3D motion with unprecedented flexibility.
Pricing & Availability:
The MoCap module will be available for Microsoft Windows NT/XP, Mac OS X and
Linux through REALVIZ resellers worldwide and from REALVIZ direct at a price
point of 1,500 Euros/1,700$ US. The MoCap module, along with the range of
other additional modules, which will be introduced during the course of
2004/2005, will be also accessible within the 'Absolu' scheme as detailed
above.
REALVIZ ImageModeler 4.0 For Windows Now Shipping
The latest version of REALVIZ' award-winning image based 3D modeling
software is now available. Using advanced algorithms, ImageModeler extracts
3D information from stills to help measure the 3D space created and
construct accurate 3D models with highly realistic textures. The resulting
model can be exported in your favorite authoring package. A Macintosh
release of version 4.0 is slated for October 2004.
