Sophia Antipolis, France - August 10, 2004 - REALVIZ, a leader in image
processing software development, will debut the first of a new range of
modules, designed to complement their internationally renowned tracking
software, MatchMover Pro 3 at Siggraph 2004. The Motion Capture (MoCap)
module, which is the first of these, will be available from Fall 2004, with
further modules slated for release in Q4 2004/Q1 2005. The REALVIZ team will
be demonstrating the MoCap module together with MatchMover Pro and their
other flagship products, including ImageModeler 4.0, which also debuts at
this year's show, and StoryViz 1.0, the very latest addition to the REALVIZ
software portfolio from 10. -12. August 2004, Siggraph booth #956, at the
Los Angeles Convention Center.
The MoCap module offers users the unique capability to perform motion
capture from synchronized image sequences with total flexibility. It can
deal with any number of image sequences, from any number of cameras, fixed
or mobile, to capture any combination of mobile objects, rigid or non-rigid.
REALVIZ MatchMover Pro 3 and the MoCap module constitute a unique solution
to accurately capture any 3D motion with unprecedented flexibility. These
products are now affordable to all - irrespective of budget - through the
REALVIZ 'Absolu' scheme, announced in June of this year.
"MatchMover Pro was already the most flexible solution to track 3D cameras

introduces a whole new dimension to what people can track in 3D. This

Additional modules are currently also in development, which will draw
further on the unique interoperability between REALVIZ MatchMover Pro and
ImageModeler to assist in the tracking of complex shots, for example, using
a model from ImageModeler, or to create photo-textured 3D models from video.
REALVIZ 'Absolu'- Making the Best 3D Tracker Affordable to All:
REALVIZ 'Absolu' is a new monthly subscription scheme, which enables single
desktop users, post-production houses, architects, and video users who
require occasional matchmoving facilities, to access MatchMover Pro 3 -
irrespective of their size or budget.
Under this scheme, monthly payments start from only 240.00 Euros/$ 300.00 US
per month* for companies, schools, universities or freelance artists, and as
low as 50 Euros/$ 60.00 US per month* for professors, teachers, research
scientists and students. Upgrades and new versions of MatchMover Pro are
included and users will have full access to the very latest version of the
software. The range of additional modules, which will be added to the
application during the course of 2004/2005, will be also accessible within
