 Date: Tue Aug 10 2004
Los Angeles, CA - 10 August 2004 - Nucoda Ltd, developer of advanced digital media solutions for film and video, is demonstrating new features for its award-winning Film Master film and video finishing solution, at SIGGRAPH 2004. The new features are designed to enhance productivity and optimize workflow for DI and VFX houses.

Features include Virtual Film Outs for previewing frames in native 2K resolution with accurate 3D LUTs; a new easy to use timeline with versioning, job/shuttle controls and monitor tools; real-time full-screen grading options with the ability to export meta data to other packages; an Open FX API for image effects and color management; and fully scriptable operation allowing render farm integration.

For the video market, Nucoda is debuting a new video batch capture capability and a range of options for VTR emulation to provide users with a more efficient workflow.

Film Master has reached a new level of richness and maturity and provides a truly comprehensive and easily accessible end-to-end solution for all film finishing applications, said Simon Cuff, CEO, Nucoda Ltd. With this new range of features designed with DI and VFX houses in mind, we are now in a stronger position to reach a wider market.

Also at SIGGRAPH 2004, Nucoda is holding technology demonstrations of a new integrated quality control tool-set for Film Master. This new capability, which will begin shipping in upcoming versions, includes The Foundrys Furnace 2 plug-ins (available Q3 2004) and powerful dust-busting and dirt removal with Nucoda Paint (available Q1 2005).

The new quality control tool-set fits tightly into Film Masters end-to-end film finishing workflow which enables artists and editors to conform an entire motion picture, edit, perform digital grading, create visual effects and output to multiple formats. Users will also benefit from a new keyer which has been redesigned to bring greater accuracy and improved productivity to the core grading process. The new keyer is faster and easier to use, providing a sophisticated interface to Film Masters comprehensive color correction tools.

Nucoda Film Master also includes:
* Unlimited layers of color correction with: 1, 2, 4 and multipoint tracking, Rotoscoping, Keying, Blur and erode, Matte Boolean and math operators
* Real-time saturation, brightness and contrast
