 Houdini 7 Apprentice Public Beta Now Available Posted by: amigo

Side Effects Software has made a beta version of their latest Houdini Apprentice 7 available for public download (in their now common tradition). Supported platforms are only Windows and Linux and what catches the eye is that it seems support has been dropped in this version for IRIX and Solaris.
This is very unfortunate since there are quite a few IRIX systems left around the world still capable of running 3D software such as Houdini, but I guess guys at SideFX know better...
In any case if you follow the link bellow you may download Houdini Apprentice 7 and Houdini Apprentice 6.1, which is still available for IRIX and Solaris as well (get it while it's still around - IF you have a SGI system :) )
