About REALVIZ ImageModeler 3.5
ImageModeler 3.5 is the solution to measure and create 3D scenes using photographs. Using advanced algorithms, ImageModeler extracts 3D information from stills to help measure the 3D space created and construct accurate 3D models with highly realistic textures. The resulting model can be exported in your favorite authoring package.
REALVIZ MatchMover Pro and ImageModeler are mutually complementary products, enabling users to shoot pictures on set and prepare 3D data (with ImageModeler), which can be used by MatchMover Pro to assist in the tracking of complex shots. MatchMover Pro can also be used to create a cloud of 3D points, which, together with the original images, can be used by ImageModeler to produce a video-based, photo-textured 3D model. "REALVIZ MatchMover and ImageModeler were integral to the process of creating 150 effects shots for the film "Devil Winds" (Cinetel/Lion's Gate). A number of shots required tracking in 3D elements - twisters, aircraft, debris, etc... and MatchMover pulled it off. Some of the footage was extremely grainy and not well registered - even on these plates we managed to get an accurate track with the software. ImageModeler helped us create photo-realistic 3D objects extremely quickly for use in a number of shots.
