(NYSE: SGI) company, today announced its 2nd API Developers Conference for game and film developers taking place in Los Angeles, June 18 � 20, 2004. The two and a half day conference offers in-depth seminars focused on learning everything there is to know about the Maya� API from Alias and industry experts.
The conference kicks off with general sessions for all attendees on Day 1, moving into industry-specific tracks on Day 2. The games track offers game developers an opportunity to hear industry experts from Secret Level�, LucasArts�, Microsoft� and Alias on the topics of exporting to a game engine, Direct X and OpenGL�, level editing strategies and mesh modifiers for next generation consoles. The film track brings together experts from DreamWorks�, mental images� and Alias who will discuss data translation, node development and mental ray� for Maya. Day 3 will focus on hot topics and issues selected by the conference attendees and addressed by a panel of Alias experts.
