Maya Secrets Revealed at the 2004 Game Developers Conference

Toronto, ON � March 15, 2004 � Alias, a Silicon Graphics Inc. (NYSE: SGI) company, today unveiled the most extensive line up of Maya� tutorials and sessions ever offered by the company, at a Game Developers Conference (GDC). More than a dozen Alias� hosted sessions will be held through the week of March 22nd. Tutorial and session topics include: automatic animation, Maya�s TRAX non-linear animation technology, animation rigging, Maya Embedded Language (MEL�), writing a Maya-to game engine exporter and tools for game art optimization.

Maya is Everywhere at GDC 2004

Alias will be located on the show floor at GDC in Expo Suite #136 where conference attendees can drop by to see the latest Maya tutorials presented by Alias games specialists every half hour. Also available in the suite will be more than a dozen games Learning Tools for purchase. Alias games specialists can also be seen demoing Maya at the NVIDIA� booth (#808), on the show floor.
