The first version of Illustrate! was released in 1994. It ran as an IPAS plugin in 3DStudio R3 running on the MS-DOS operating system. Ten years have now gone by and Illustrate! is still going strong. The future is looking great. With many great new features planned and a Maya version in development, you can be sure that Illustrate! will be toon renderer of choice for the next ten years.

Also available right now is illustrate! 5.3 plugin for 3ds max 6, with current owners of illustrate! 5.x can upgrade for free.

illustrate! creator David Gould has also put a Feedback page and would like to know what features and functionality you'd like to see in the next installement of the plugin. Now is your chance to contribute ideas and get your voice heard.
