 Adobe Photoshop Update Now Available for Power Mac G5 Posted by: amigo

San Jose, CA - Aug. 20, 2003 - Adobe Systems Incorporated today announced the immediate availability of a new update to Adobe Photoshop 7.0.1 software designed to take full advantage of Apple's new Power Mac G5 product line. This update is available as a free download from the Adobe Web site and, for a limited time, also will be included with all Power Mac G5 systems shipped by Apple.
With this new update, customers who purchased Adobe Photoshop 7.0.1 for an Apple G3 or G4 system can transfer their software to a new Power Mac G5 and be assured of getting the best performance from Apple's fastest system available. The Power Mac G5 delivers performance that will enable Adobe Photoshop 7.0.1 to run up to twice as fast when compared to previous Macintosh models.
The Adobe Photoshop 7.0.1 G5 Processor Plug-in for MacOSX is available immediately for download from Adobe's Web site at www.adobe.com.
