 Texture Editor - a realtime texture generation system Posted by: amigo Source: email Date: Thu Jul 24 2003 Texture Editor is a program that generates procedural quadratic textures, just think of DarkTree Textures, but free. Though it might not be as feature set rich as DarkTree (yet), but it's getting there.
With Texture Editor you can create various texture maps (diffuse, bump, specular, reflection etc) up to the size of 1024x1024 pixels, with seamless tiling.

- Code Library for TSD (TextureSetData, the texture editors native file format in which all textures are saved to disk) import and texture generation

Requirements:
- x86 CPU with MMX Instruction Support
- OS: MS Windows 2000 / XP. (Will not run under Windows 95, Windows98; not tested on Windows ME, Windows NT)
- Minimum 1024x768 pixels screen resolution with 16 million colors (32 bit color depth)
Current version is 0.9, available on the Texture Editor website, and it includes the PDF manual and example textures. Also available is a Library for file import and texture generation (for developers).
