Sensbachtal, Germany -April 24 2003� Sachform Technology is pleased to announce the release date for Volume 2 of the well known HDRIbase, scheduled for release on june, 1st, 2003.
HDRIbase Vol. 2 is a collection of High-Res texture maps in HDRI (High Dynamic Range Image).
After the more winterly oriented Volume 1, the next Volume of HDRIbase brings warm summer locations to the user. The Panoramas for Vol.2 where mainly taken in spain which ensures a richness in colour and lighting information which couldn�t be reached within germany.
HDRIbase Vol. 2 enables the user to do a very quick and realistic ligthing setup for 3D-scenes. No more trouble and hours of tweaking to get a realistic lighting, just open a HDRI and render it with your preferred application (the application must be able to deal with the .hdr- format). Most 3D-applications are able to deal with HDRIs natively or with the assistance of a plugin.
