Alberta, Canada - Dec 3, 2002 - Lost Pencil Animation Studios Inc. is pleased to present "Model & Rig in a Day!" a training CD for Lightwave 7.5.
Using Lightwave 7.5, we show how to quickly create a simple character model, a female biped. Then we rig the character using a predefined skeleton template and an automated script. Then we show in detail how to use vertex paint to modify and tweak the weight maps in order to create effective mesh deformations.
This CD is a great complement to our "Just Animate" character animation training CD's for Lightwave. Our "Just Animate" training CD's concentrate on teaching how to animate a character convincingly. Now you can get to animating your own character using the process and techniques in our new "Model & Rig in a Day!" training CD. It will help you to create your own completely rigged and animatable character in a very short amount of time. It is targeted at the introductory and intermediate user. Some familiarity with Lightwave is helpful.
The CD contains the source files for the finished character and a bonus character to help you practice your rigging and weight mapping skills.
