If you run A|W Maya 4.5 on Windows or IRIX, you may now download the free public beta of mental ray v1.5. The Mac OS X and Linux versions will follow soon.
TORONTO--Sept. 27, 2002--Alias/Wavefront(TM), an SGI (NYSE:SGI) company, announced today that the mental ray(R) for Maya(R) 1.5, free public beta version for Windows(R) and IRIX(R) operating systems is now available for download to Maya 4.5 customers. The free public beta will be available for Linux(R) and Mac(R) OS X operating systems soon. Updates on availability will be posted at http://www.aliaswavefront.com/maya/getmental.
