These are a couple of drawing tests I did in 2004 later on 18-19 years without doing traditional drawing.

Maybe I needed to know if I still rememer how to get a pencil, I don't know... so even if the results aren't  so much realistic, I had nice a time by drawing them, by experiencing the sensation to "touch" the paper with the pencils... nice memories.

Coloured pencils.

Checking my old capabilities for colouring with pencils, using a photo of my son David as reference. (about 20x30 cm Gvarro paper)

Coloured pencils + Photoshop and Wacom tablet:

Just can't resist doing an experiment (digital media involved), so I've scanned the coloured pencil drawing done using two photos of my daughter Alba as reference (about 20x30cm Gvarro paper) then using Photoshop smearing tool plus some brushes and selective color correction for improving details and accuracy.

I've realised that detail  and photorealism can be improved alot by removing the paper grain (smearing) and using small brushes for thiny remarks and highlights. (because high resoltion scan, apparent working  space is about 10 times bigger than  the original done with pencils on paper drawing), also selective color correction and  big brushes with low opacity can help to improve colour and shading in a very fast way... mmm, realise that  digital media it's again a big help to me for doing 2Dwork, as much as  it does in my 3Dwork.

Work in progress.
